French tradition meets modern Chicago.
Petit Pomeroy brings the warmth and character of a classic Parisian bistro to the heart of Chicago. Located where River North meets the Gold Coast, the intimate restaurant draws inspiration from the timeless neighborhood restaurants of France, pairing an inviting atmosphere with a menu rooted in familiar French favorites. From French onion soup and escargot to steak frites and other bistro classics, Petit Pomeroy creates an experience that feels transportive without losing the comfort of a neighborhood restaurant.
Opened in 2024, Petit Pomeroy is part of Ballyhoo Hospitality, the Chicago restaurant group founded by Ryan and Anna O'Donnell. The restaurant is the city sister to Pomeroy in Winnetka and reflects Ballyhoo's focus on thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and restaurants designed to become part of their communities. With its refined yet approachable personality, Petit Pomeroy brings that philosophy to a distinctly French experience in downtown Chicago.
